Time travel is a great concept for a movie premise. There is a sense of mystery and intrigue that revolves around the prospect of someone in the future meeting his past self. Shawn Levy’s The Adam Project, starring the very good looking Ryan Reynolds, meets his 12-year-old self in the form of child actor Walker Scobell. Ryan’s character Adam (thus the title The Adam Project) is trying to do multiple things – it starts with his plan to save his late wife Laura (Zoe Saldana) from dying, but ends up with the bigger plan of saving humanity and the planet from destruction!
