Bangladesh wants to recycle 80% plastic by 2030

The government is set to finalize a sustainable plastic management plan as a part of building a plastic pollution-free Bangladesh in collaboration with the World Bank.

“The government will continue its initiative to build a plastic waste-free Bangladesh by implementing the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) policy currently being implemented with the cooperation of all concerned,” Environment Secretary Md Mostafa Kamal said on Sunday.
