The ‘world’s tiniest baby at birth’ has come home to his parents after spending 13 months in hospital.

Kwek Yu Xuan weighed just 212g, the weight of an apple, when she was born on June 9, 2020. According to reports, she was delivered at just 25 weeks, four weeks premature, and needed special attention from the hospital staff.

Yu Xuan was delivered via an emergency C-section after her mother was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia.

According to the hospital, she was so small at the time of birth that she had to be wheeled into the neonatal care unite.
