A tsunami marine warning for Lord Howe issued when a magnitude-7.6 earthquake struck near New Caledonia has been cancelled.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said the earthquake’s epicentre was 417 kilometres east of Tadine, New Caledonia, and at a depth of 10 kilometres.
