
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month.
The statistics are alarming; lung cancer causes more deaths than the next three most common cancers (colon, breast and prostate) combined.
According to the American Lung Association: “Smoking is the No. 1 cause of lung cancer. It causes about 90% of lung cancer cases. Tobacco smoke contains many chemicals that are known to cause lung cancer.”
