Madhya Pradesh BJP MLA and state vice-president Rameshwar Sharma has raised questions on film actress Deepika Padukone after her appearance at JNU on Tuesday evening.
Speaking to India Today TV in Bhopal on Wednesday, Rameshwar Sharma said, “Deepika Padukone is standing with those who are anti-nationals.”
While targeting Deepika Padukone, Rameshwar Sharma slammed Javed Akhtar as well, and said that “be it Deepika Padukone or Javed Akhtar, they should understand that if you stand with those who burn India, then this country will not accept you”.
Rameshwar Sharma also advised Deepika Padukone that if she wants to become an actor in this country, then she must learn something from Amitabh Bachchan who has never said a word against motherland and never made any comment. “Today entire world knows him as the most powerful actor of the century. Deepika and Javed should understand the nation of Mahatma Gandhi,” the BJP MLA said.
